Conservation

The State of California is developing a long term conservation plan called "Making Water Efficiency A Way of Life".  This plan will have requirements for all water purveyors and residents to follow.  Until the final release of this plan, Del Paso Manor Water District asks each resident "to use water wisely and efficiently".  Common sense water measure are encouraged and include:

* Do not water within 48 hours after measurable rainfall

* Use recirculating pumps in fountains

* No hosing off driveways, walkways and hardscapes

* Do not let water run off your property

* Use a shut off nozzle when washing automobiles

* Avoid lawn watering in the heat of the day
