Del Paso Manor Water District participates in the Sacramento County Back Flow Program. This program is for the State required management of backflow prevention assymblies installed on commercial buildings, fire systems and irrigation applications which are required to be inspected and tested annually. These devices are designed to protect the public by preventing the flow of unwanted material back into the Public Water system. We have a state certified knowledgeable person on staff who performs audits on commercial buildings to determine the level of backflow needed to comply with the State of California regulations. Every customer that has a backflow assembly on their connection must have it tested annually at their expense.
